A Question About PS-3T's....

Did these have shorter heels on the neck than the current RR3? I have two PS-3T bodies and I'm trying to fit an '06 RR3 neck on one of them and they both have the same problem, the top of the fretboard sits way too high off of the top of the body, making proper setup impossible. I'm assuming the fix for this would be to take a couple mm's off the back of the neck heel, I'd rather not but don't have the tools to deepen the neck pocket on the body......Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.........
