Anyone heard of the Jackson AT-1?

Are the Jackson AT-1 any good ? Should I go for it for 500 U$s?
To wich other model would you compare it ?

That looks like the SDK-1 Super Dinky.

The AT-1 was USA made, and was a great guitar.

Don't think I've had one of these, though.

Yes, that sure looks like the Super Dinky in Ash Graphite color. These weren't too popular with the thicker neck and small frets and smaller body/shorter horns that doesn't balance well. I had the import version maple board SDK2, sold it for $200.

Hard to tell from the pic, but looks like I see 'Jackson' on the bridge. If so (and if it doesn't say 'made in usa' on the headstock) then the guitar in question would be the Japan made SDK2.

Diego, do you have closeup pics of the bridge and headstock?

I ve checked the 97 catalog and it seems like an SDK-1 indeed.

Then its a SDK2 as I suggested in my earlier comment. I linked the catalog page, what other 'data' are you looking for? Also the $500 you mentioned is too much to pay for this.

You are right MountainDog it must be a SDK2 couse the seller says it is from japan. Those are the only photos the guy posted so it is all I ve got.

The serial number will tell if it's Japan. If that's the case, then SDK2 it is.
As well, IIRC that finish was only available on imports.
