  • New score: Jackson RR PRO

Yeah, this was the day... So here it is, my first own Jackson. I've been digging these guitars since the kid as I have preached you. I think that Jacksons are the ultimate rock guitars there are. And the coolest guitar shape ever to me is the RR. Thank Randy, Alexi Laiho, Roope Latvala, Ben Varon, Markus Vanhala and many others for having this baby in my hands right now.

So, she's just what I had always dreamed off/what I was looking for. The neck is just PERFECT to my hands(wide and thin). What surprised me was that it didn't ring that loud acoustically. But when I plugged in - wow, this thing sustains for days. It's so easy to make her scream! Right now it's got sh12 in the bridge and 59 in the neck. Most likely I'm changhing them to J80 and J85. The bridge is Floyd Rose Pro. The string lining is not exactly straight but nothing major issues here.

Hope you'll join my feast here in the JCF.

well big scraches tru the paint and wood. Couple paint chips huge wood dings. Pickup rings are broken, Tuning cube in teh floyd missing. At least the seller regrets selling it and want to give me a full refund, well I'll believe that when I get my money.

Sounds like it was damaged before shipping to me.

                    hey Distractor,
Sweet RR.... I just grabbed one on Saturday. Like I said in my post, I had an RR back in 1985 and this is actually a better playing and sounding one. Enjoy.... They are great guitars.

RR pro is really a fantastic beast ! I bought mine in 1996 and I continue to play it withi the same good feeling of 12 years ago ... I only replaced the old active mid-boost electronic withe a passive one + a JB on the bridge and a 59 on the neck ... simply fantastic !!
