Thanks for all the replies! It's actually not my birthday until a couple more weeks though, i got it early. Excuse my crappy yard, i don't have any neighbors so the less the grass grows the more i can play guitar

The EMGs sound pretty good in this guitar, sounds like my rr24. What's strange is that both of those alder bodies with 81's actually sound thicker than my mahogany SLSMG with an 81. Maybe it needs a new battery...Comment

Congrats on the guitar! Remidn the wife guitars make great BD presents. That way even though you get older, you add another guitar to the arsenal
