I like those, but I have a question:

Is it wise to clean anything on a guitar with soap and water? I could be wrong, but it seems like it might not be the best idea.

An old friend of mine always recommends to put some nails in the holes to keep the junk out of them, or maybe try to get a roland synth to use those already made holes

          Hey All,

Thanks for the nice comments. I replaced the bridge rails pickup with a Tonerider Generator pickup and posted a sample - http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1131920

P.S. I don't know if I'd recommend the dishwashing liquid to anyone else, but it's a urethane finish and I would figure pretty tough. I used one drop of liquid on a t-shirt and then ran it under the water and it cleaned up the accumulated gunk on the body pretty well. Then I went over it with Macguire's ScratchX and finished with Macguire's Mirror Glaze #9.

Congrats! Love the color. I had two Dinky Reverse models, one in deep metallic purple with offset dot inlays, and another in candy apple green with reverse sharkfin inlays (it really had an amazing flame on the back of the neck, too). They were cool guitars, but I just grew out of those thin necks after awhile.
