  • Stealth XL?

    According to my searches, this looks to be a '92 or '93. I'm figurin' on checkin' it out;

    According to the info here.....

    .....the one most desirable would be the Stealth Pro and not the XL. From the features, they seem almost identical, save for body wood, bridge and electronic components.

    It's still worthwhile, don't you think?

    There were some other cosmetic differences, such as an ebony fretboard and MOP dot inlays on the Stealth Pro versus rosewood and white plastic dots on the XL. However, the ash body alone makes either model worth considering in my opinion. I have a later Stealth TH-2 with an ash body, which is lightweight (great for gigging) and has a very crisp, punchy tone. I own two other ash Jacksons, and highly recommend them.

    I almost bought a Stealth XL several years ago, but I seem to recall the seller trying to push it as a USA and charging too much. Although you might find a better price eventually, $500 for a fairly uncommon mint guitar with case is certainly not bad.

      I have the Stealth EX Professional and with a pickup swap, it is by far my GOTO guitar. From the body to the neck it feels so nice playing and stays in tune very well with the stock trem.
