  • New guy and wondering year of my PS-4

Hi, my first post here. I've got a "gaggle" of guitars but only one Jackson. I like to know when my guitars were built and am going through them pretty well. This is a PS-4 with an HSH configuration, 5 way switch and a sn# of 1009870 which is on the 4 screw neck plate. It's a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a floyd licenced trem. Vol/tone knobs and offset fret markers with reverse headstock.

Any idea of the year? A sticker on the back of the neck says made in Korea.

Late 98 to early 99 would be my guess.
Great guitars, just crappy hardware and electronics.

From what I have hear, if it starts with a 9, it's Japanese.
              Otherwise it's Korean.

              Both are awesome.
