      Only one thing ... i'm waiting to receive a new Original Floyd Rose ... so ... i've got a question: How did you remove the pivot\studs of the old floyd???

        Sorry for the long delay dude!

        I removed them by using pliers. Just put a thick cloth between the pliers and the studs to not damage them.

          dude, you inspired me to "goldenize"my Rhoads PRO.
          i had similar problem, but instead of the gold nut being too tall, the golden nut i got was too short!. And as the floyd rose screws n pivot, i wont bother for now lol, right now i dont have enough money to get golden knobs yet, but it'll be gold as well

              Its cool we all have this fetish of changing hardware. I have a 2000 RR5 that i am making GOLD to BLACK!!!!! I will keep the original parts to sell if and when i deiced to. Where we practice is way too humid! for GOLD. Black is the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!
