You could in affect add a switch instead of the stereo jack. But why? You'll have 2 steps instead of one when ever you plug a cable into it. There shouldnt be a need to change the pot for the TC. Its controlling the booster not the pups. Just replace the v/t pots with the 25k and you'll be good to go. Just make sure you follow the wireing diagram perfectly or you'll end up with NewC syndrom of the battery draining when its not plugged in. I believe the cneter lug on the stereo jack is the battery connection.

Oh and i think the Turbo charger had a higher gain than the After burner.
I have read in several places that both were 20 Db of gain. I am not saying your wrong. I'm just saying that's what I've read.
I'm not trying to be a know it all. In fact I was not confident about any of this. That's why I looked it up. I have never even played through active pups.
based on these links, my guess is that the EMG Afterburner is just a rebranded "Jackson Exclusive" Turbocharger and the Firestorm is just SDs attempt to throw their hat in the ring with a similar product. I've been wrong before though.

You're right. I kept thinking that model has only 2 knobs like the current one, with the TC doubling as the Tone control.
The Halford's in the case so I can't see it to remember, and I forgot that the my TC knob is black, so when looking at the pics, I see two chrome knobs
