I always liked the Crimson Swirl out of the two. The EDS has too much of that turquoise green color in it for my liking. I can't stand that shade!
But otherwise it is nicely done!
They do make a nice pair though! Do they sound similar also?

Alright, another crimson swirl! Though, why the retainer bar on the DK2M?
Good question. It appears(and he said) he has a OFR on it but I'm wondering too, why the retainer bar? I thought you don't need those because of the tilted backedness of the headstock.

Correct. Maybe it helps dampening harmonic vibrations in the strings behind the headstock?
