Hey guys , sorry if this has been posted in the wrong section but i'm just wondering , what has been happening with Jackson Stars lately ?
i was on their site but i didnt get to look at their models like i used to be able to :S, Anyone able to tell me whats been happening ?

Yup. Me and Gwar are now building them in my gutted 2-story double-wide in Tornado Alley. We're renaming the line "Duck-and-cover", and the models will be the neckthrough-the-front-wall "Singularist", "Rohads", "Worrier", and "Yelly".

We'll also have a bolt-on-and-epoxy-neck "Dicky" model.

Oh wait, you wanted a serious answer. Uhm.... Uh... Oh they have guitars, I don't think semi-customs or customers are being made for the time being and uhm...

you know there may be a thread on this already. I'd look for it, but NewC and Brooke in the same thread makes me nervous *pets my Jackson Stars*

Ok, trying to be serious now.. I think there was a thread, there's still no time line one when or iff they'll be doing customs again. Charvels I believe are US only now. I believe several of the models you used to get made they won't make anymore.

Seriously, there is another thread on this. At last report, someone who had been calling JacksonStars about the matter was given a date for a definitive answer, and when asked about it after the date had come and gone, the rep said "Well, since you're upset that the time I told you has come and gone, how about if I don't tell you another time so you won't be so disappointed?" and that was the end of it.

There might be doing customs again, but before it closed they raised the price for a custom like hell, so it's almost as expensive as buying an US custom if it do reopen.
