Ok folks I've had this for a few weeks now.I wanted to take it around the block a bit before I tell you my opinion.First off I ordered it from musiciansfriend,so out of the box it felt extremely light. The fret job on it looked kinda crappy, and every one of the inlay's was coming out of the fretboard on the bottom points. These were easy fixes so it wasn't a major problem.
As for the bridge I can't give an honest opinion on it's functionality because I swapped it out for a OFR.I had seen on the forum here questions on whether these FRT 02000's were real, yes it's a real Floyd Rose just made in China I think it was.Just looking at the screws and saddles I could tell it was about as cheap as any liscensed floyd I've seen.I debated on keeping it on there for awhile to see how it was,but I had an OFR laying around that I could never really figure out what to do with and I knew I would have thrown the OFR on it eventually. The good thing is the FRT 02000 is the same size as an OFR so swapping them is no problem, unlike a liscensed floyd which may not fit right or may not fit at all.
So, after I got everything fixed up and a good setup. I have to say this thing plays really well.It has a good feel to it,the neck reminds me of an RR3 I had years ago.It sounds real good,(I don't think you can go wrong with EMG).It looks really cool with the maple fretboard,I like it cause it's different than anything else I'v got.
Honestly in my opinion this would be a great guitar for about $800 to $900.At the price right now I think they should at least have an OFR on there and a case too.

    Looks nice!

Pretty shocking what you told about the inlays coming off the board.
    I mean for a 1k + guitar... That's not acceptable.

The only bad thing I heard about the cheap OFRs was that the trem arm doesnt stay as tight.

Thats what I thought about the inlays and the frets, but it might just have happened to that particular guitar. It was an easy fix though, so I let it go.I have seen worse things on more expensive guitars.

          Cool

Hows the upper fret acess? It always looks pretty hard on V's.

I still have my RR24, but that's going bye bye at the end of the month if not sooner. I'm saving for my next USA Jackson. The RR24M does look better than it's predecessor.

If you can find one in a store and check it out first I would recommend that.It is a nice guitar, and plays real well.I just don't think it's worth $1249.

apparently i cant since my local music store here doesnt sell jackson guitars (yea, srsly). and my local guitar center is filled w/ nothing but crap. a few good and decent guitars, but the best jackson there is the rr3 (the priciest that they have as well).

The upper fret access on the G,B,E strings isn't to bad.The E,A,D strings it's a little hard to get up there.

The neck is kinda thin(thinner than a USA model).I wouldn't say it's too flat though.

I'll tell you what, aside from the shape they are completely different guitars. In my opinion the RR1 is a far better guitar. It has a better feel, and certainly better hardware.I don't want to turn this into a long rant about Jackson's prices ,but I got my RR1 6 years ago, brand new for $1350.Now the import models are almost that much.I know some of these import's are good guitars, but for prices to skyrocket in such a short amount of time it leaves you kinda stunned.
