It is indeed MOther of TOilet seat. It's a plastic faux (imitation) Mother of Pearl, like used on toilet seats back in the '70s.

He's wrong. Nick at Piney Hills said they are indeed MOTO. Look at the inlays on that Youtube clip, you can tell they're plastic. Jackson are not known for getting specs right.
The custom shop USA models of Phil have MOP, but not the Japanese production.
Jackson said the same thing about the Mark Morton production model having MOP with the abalone sharkeye, but it's not MOP. Jackson cuts costs on imports, no way they would put real MOP on them.

Saturday's gonna be a hectic day!

I'm going to collect my new car Saturday morning, then giving it it's first test drive in way of a cruise to the guitar shop to pick up my new Demmelition V! Hopefully it'll be setup in D Standard! Then I gotta hit the studio at 1pm for a 3 hour rehearsel before I go to a local venue for a soundcheck for my new bands first gig where we've sold in excess of 70 tickets, not bad for a debut!

Jesus... I'm gonna need a drink!

The Demmel is awesome! Seriously one of the sweetest guitars I've owned! Just can't fault it. And I've never had so many compliments on a guitar after a gig before! This thing is beautiful! I'll take some pictures of it soon, an hopefully have some live shots for everyone
