I've had the Charvel since I bought it new in 1989, so the frets are really worn now. Instead of a refret, I've been toying with the idea of putting in a Jackson neck... I've grown tired of the magenta headstock, and I think a bound fretboard would also look great on this guitar. Too bad Fusion necks are apparently very hard to come by...

I think that the neck heel on your Charvel is 2-1/4" as opposed to Jackson's 2-1/8" so you're gonna have to do something about the gap when using the Jackson neck because it isn't as wide as the Charvel.
