Jackson "Performer" Kelly... can someone explain these?
actually, i disagree with that. performer series shouldnt go over 300. that's just rip off if you ask me...
I disagree, those Performers were quality built guitars and their value should be around $300-500 atleast.
In my opinion they are better than the 2000 to current Jackson imports.

If it is really nice condition with minimal paint issues and no hardware rust etc... then it is well worth the price, no doubt about it. Early to mid 90's makes it 13+ years old and it's sure to climb in value once the San Dimas and the rest of the 'good' bolt ons are snatched up and taken off the market.
I own 4 Professionals and I love em

I disagree. The old Professionals may better than the current Pro imports, but the Performers are not. I wouldn't pay more than $300 for a Performer. Particularly not the Korean ones.

I wouldn't be holding your breath expecting Performers to suddenly become appreciating collectibles. It's not going to happen. They are a solid, decent, dime-a-dozen guitar. And with the new Pro series being better guitars with better features, only people who get misty eyed for the "good old days" are going to be suckered into paying more for the old Performers.
Remember, these are not the classic early 90s Professionals we are talking about.
Ooops! i'm sorry for the confusion i thought the original post said 'professional' not 'performer'!!
I feel like a dumbass! And I even wrote performer in one of my replies! Damn, I need to lay off the candy!
Yeah the Performers are not worth that much, I apologize everyone!
Performers were made in Korea, werent they?
Those would be the PS3T and the PS2 dinky, PS4 Kelly, correct?

some were. They were made in Japan & Korea. The standard dot inlaid necks are easier to identify - the wider spaced 12th fret dots indicate Korean manufacture. Otherwise, the Japanese guitars have a serial starting with a 9 and the Koreans with a 10.

Thanks for clearing that up. I had a PS3T, but other than that I'm not very familiar with the Performer series, aside from owning a few PS-4 necks.
Is there a post or a chart that distinguishes the year and some specs of the bolt on Jackson imports?
Damn it there shold be
