I am definitely going to change the knobs, I like everything to be uniform. Right now, I'm digging the missing truss rod cover, there off on all my guitars; a la Chris Holmes. There did look to be something there, as far as an extra hole. I'm not sure what but it was plugged up when I got it. As far as I know it's standard wiring. But I could be wrong, electronics is not my forté.

I may change all the hardware to brass to give it a classier look, and I am familiar with FretsOnTheNet. He provides a great product and is really nice to deal with.

If I could only find a USA Rhoades V, with reverse sharkies and headstock, bound of course.

      Good info here, thanks.
      I believe this is correct.

I have a performer series PS3, bought it back in '96.
It has all the same specs as your concept except mine is blue metallic and the dots on the 12th fret are more on the edge of the board.

I believe the models with the wider fret spacing were made in Korea or indonesia, all of the concepts were made in Japan.

Can anyone recommend a good replacement bridge for this model guitar? I'm looking to change all the cheap hardware to brass.

A schaller trem should drop right in. Those JT500s are the same specs, but cheaper metal.

I pulled the hardware off the guitar and it appears to be a Gotoh bridge

What the hell was I looking at? I must have been looking at the JDR to tell you a schaller. Gotoh makes good stuff! You may want to keep that bridge.

Yeah Gotoh stuff is quite pricey compared to other brands, I'm surprised to see that on a Concept.
Sell it on ebay and buy a brass one with the proceeds.

                      All Done

I got all my hardware in and set up, the Gotoh bridge I ordered wasn't a direct fit due to the bridge posts so I had a pro install them for me. And after installing the tuners and other hardware, she's all done. Now I have to figure out how to set it up properly. This is my first guitar with a TOM bridge, looks like I'll be reading some more from Dan's book.

I got the pickup rings, tuners, knobs and bridge from StewMac & the V and control plate off eBay.

                          Very nice!
TOM's are a breeze to setup as long as the radius is correct.

Excellent work Sharkfin! You transformed that plain jane JRR94 into a classy looking sonic weapon. You might want to dig through the Rhoads Concept files here about strap button placement on those axes, unless you already have, because they play more comfortably if you change the position of your front strap pin- just a suggestion. Looks great, the pickups don't look factory[?], I'd like to see a picture of her all strung up. Cool.

Good call on moving the strap pin, I moved it to the top of the plate using the screw plate screw. No more nose dives!

That's what I did with my KE3. Never noticed my RR3 nosediving.
