Please help this noob identify my new Jackson

Forgive my ignorance, this is my first Jackson. I bought this from Craigslist for $160. Seller told me original owner bought it 5 years ago, but just want to verify what I really have and if I got a good deal.

I removed the neck and writing on neck is - 22I807 (manufactured 2007?)

Serial on plate (6090733) - No Jackson logo on plate, but does say Made in Japan. After reading on here, I thought Japanese serials started with 9

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Looks like a JS30, before they became Made in India.

Welcome. I am not able to answer your question but I may be able to point you in the direction of research material. click "HERE" and do some legwork until someone comes along. A $160 for a guitar with humbuckers and a locking trem seems pretty good to me. Looks like a JT580lp

Yes, it is a JS30. I don't recall when they started putting JT-580 trems on them though, but 5 years ago they came with a JT-500 (looks like a Schaller).
