  • SLS-3 super lightweight soloist

I was browsing MF and came across this. Looks cool except no floyd. Ebony fretboard though.

And, are "shark eye" inlays just another name for the Piranha inlays?

They're the same inlays as on the KV2T. Here's a pic:

    It is a beautiful guitar.
    I like maple fretboards. :P

pirahna inlays are different than shark's eye inlays. Still thinks it's cool even w/o a floyd. Would be cool for sub-sonic tunings.

Hmm.... never saw that thread, ran a search before I posted too. Must be because I searched SLS-3 instead of SLS3.

Yeah, I figured the inlay's weren't piranha. I also notice that green one has binding and 3+3 headstock. The ad says inline 6 pointy headstock and makes no mention of neck binding. Doesn't suprise me with MF though.

Yeah, it's got the 3+3 headstock and binding. The picture I posted above is from the official Jackson site, and I think that the black and satin black listed on MF are the only other finishes along with the white one pictured above and the green swirl one.

Here's a youtube video of it from the Jackson channel:
