I've got 3 ke3s ,I've installed dimebucker in 1 (ok - better then duncan designed)
I installed emg 81\85 in the other 2.




On my reverse sharkies it also has a reverse headstock ,I'd never seen the reverse sharkies standard neck before ,cool.Looks like a great score bro ,good price - qaulity guitar !!!

If you've got some spare pups , change them in and out till you find what you like ,for me ; I like the emg 81\85 combo in them ,in my ke2s I've got stock duncans in one (sound great) and an emg 81 in the other (I'll probalbly be putting the real seymours back in it) hope this helps .

Thanks for posting the pics mate, nice guitars (and cases!).
I still have a Seymour Duncan Custom 5/Jazz set sitting. I'm not sure if I need to replace the Duncan Designed pickups though - they sound alright so far. I'm waiting to see how they do at my next band rehearsal. If they feedback like crazy or just sound crap, I'll try the Duncans in.

What colour is the guitar in your top picture, on the right? It looks similar to the colour of mine. I'm going to ask Budman to do me something to personalise it, but I'm not sure what yet as the guitar is such an odd colour.

Both of them in the top pic are translucent blue ,I'll try to find some time this evening to take a better photo to show color better.

almost every blue ke3 I've seen is slightly different .

Mine is actually INDIGO!

I LOVE the finishes on those two guitars of yours, they look awesome. Mine is just a solid colour.
