Just got my Dk2M!

Off ebay for $450 CDN, includes shipping and hardshell case. The guy`s description of the guitar in "mint" condition was almost true. I tried unlocking the locking nut but the allen wrench isnt the right size! Or maybe the edges in the nut are all worn down? It's hard to tellreally. Lets just say that the nut is worn down, how easy is it to replace the nut? DO I have to get a hole new lockcing thing or just the nut?

Other than that the guitar is in perfect working condition!

This is my first guitar with a locking trem too. And I will post pics soon!

The nut is held on by 2 screws located under the 3 allen heads and clamps.

You dont need to replace the entire nut, only the 3 allen screws. Use a pair of pliers to remove them if they are totally stripped.

Any hardware store will have allen keys they're not really expencive either
just buy a set, they're really handy to have

I have a new question about my dinky.

I dont think it will "turn" into anything. ...except dirty probably. I have lusted after those shiny maple strat and tele fretboards too. My guitar teacher had a 86 MIM fender strat and his board was so shiny I was envious!
BTW, loved the video of Steffen Schackinger. Very nice playing!

The clue is the word inlays! They're made of a plastic called Delrin, and are glued into the board. I doubt you'd ever find a half decent guitar where the position markers are just painted on.
