God, these just keep coming....
How about spending some time reading thru some of these threads using the SEARCH function? Honest to God, it works.
You get all the information your seeking and get a good idea on your own of its value. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay, IMO.
A little research on your part goes a long ways towards a happy community.

Search e-bay closed auctions for values.
sixx speaks truth with regard to it being worth what an interested party is willing to pay.
Come here for other good info, cuz there is a lot of it here.
Welcome to the forum.

Before I asked this question, I searched this site, completed ebay listings, and google, and the only references to the value of a Fusion HH I could find were someone selling one for $800 on craigslist and the original price of $895.
Thanks for the welcome.Last edited by diatom; 12-08-2008, 06:44 PM.

Hmmmm.... well, both of those numbers seem really high to me.
I could be wrong (that's why it's not good to ask, you'll get all kinds of opinions, some of which will offend owners of that particular model, etc.).
Starts shit-storms.
I would think something between 400 and 650, but that's one person's opinion only.
Oh, and in today's economic climate, I may be 200 too high on both numbers.
Ugh... it's just tough to say.
Can you dig it?

I love mine so much I would never consider selling it.mine is a 92 mahogony body in trans red.$400.00 is a fair price for a black one with case. The black ones had basswood bodies BTW.
You could not pry this one out of my hands I've had her for a very long time.Ilove the short scale fusions.

you can get em fairly cheap 200-250 if you look for awhile. I had a trans red one and sold it to nearby JCFer a couple years ago it was pretty rough, while I like the idea of an HB HB configuration I really was not too impressed with my Fusion HH compared to my other FusionsI say the boy ain't right!

Just spend some time reading thru these gazillions of threads and you can generally anser your own questions. I have asked questions more for a general consensus of what works with MY guitar. I don't have the fundage to try this pickup combo, this amp head, or whatever.
Joining this forum to ask that kind of question is just annoying to me.
The people here love to share thier knowledge and suggestions.
All I am asking is just do a little homework.
(steps off soapbox)
Fair enough?

In basswood up to $300, but it would need to be something really special.

I agree, and the condition would have to be really good to warrant those prices. There's just too many old lower-level Fusion imports out there on eBay that are selling cheap. Getting a mahogany HH and upgrading the trem and pickups is a long-term goal of mine, however.[/quote]
Thats what the guy planned to do to the trans red mahogany HH I sold.
As far as HB/HB fusions go The Charvel Fusion Plus with the better pups and schaller trem is a much nicer guitar, IMO

Well mine came with the JT-580 lp trem(Takeuchi)and it is a very fine trem.I have a OFR low pro in the guitar now and have to say I like the JT-580 lp better in this guitar.I'll yank the OFR LP and use it somewhere else when I get time.
JT-580's and the Schallers are fine trems so no need to upgrade them IMO.
I did find an old set of J-50's(alnico) to put in and an RS pot upgrade kit (naturally)and it don't get any better than that!Last edited by straycat; 12-10-2008, 12:13 AM.Really? well screw Mark Twain.
