So, its a goody huh?? Ive studied enough guitar catalogs and know my Jacksons well enough that I knew it was a later pro series, so I was worried that it was after they cheapened them.. He says fret wear is minimal and looks to be in great shape.. Thanks so much checking for me and the info!

The professional series from 90 to 95 are the bomb. I did a trade for a RRv professional standard and this thing playes better then my Fender SRV strat....sob!!! Anyway these guitar are gems and if you can get one...do it. I tried to add a picture but couldn't. I do have a picture in the gallary if you would like to check it out.

I'm gonna semi-hijack this thread...
I've got my eye on what I think is a decent professional (90-94), but I don't know that much about Jacksons...
Pics:
I can't make out the serialnumber, so I mailed the owner to ask if he or she knew what year it was from and the serial, and a pic of the heel (since the ad says it's neckthru)... But this looks like a good upgrade from my shitty ibanez... For about 550€, about 720$, should I go for it?

Great guitar!
Very good price too.
Yeah, the red isn't really my color, but my main axe now just stinks... I can probably pull the price down a little more, but good to know it's an early batch Jap. I like Japs :p

The variant should be on the trussrod cover, e.g. "Dinky Std" or "Soloist XL" or "Rhoads Pro".
If it comes with the original case, I'd pay about $250 for a Std and $350 for an XL. The Pros can fetch quite a bit more.
Check out the 1994 catalog for some more details: http://audiozone.dk/cm/displayimage.php?album=61&pos=9
shit I have owned a dinky std and the dk dx is nowhere close to them! hell i've own a kelly ps and ps4 and ps2 and i think they are better than the new import crap...but what do i know????I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.
