Has Anyone Here Done In Depth Dominion Review?

I am seriously thinking about purchasing this guitar. I searched, but didn't find any threads relating to in depth reviews of this guitar? If anyone can show me some threads or help me out it would be greatly appreciated

Really?? I went to GP's site and see nothing about it in the "this month" section. I'd love to check that out even though I already have 2 of 'em!

I don't know about their website, but I got the GP in the mail a couple weeks ago, January '09 issue (it's got David Gilmour on the cover) and the Gear Roundup section has 11 guitars tested. On page 122 is the Dominion review.

Does MM use the same pickups in his guitar? I think the guy said they were both 59's?

They are '59s in the import, but Mark has used EMGs and all sorts of Duncans in his. There's a pic around here with an Invader in one of them.

Yep, custom shops for him. It's basically a modified version of the SweeTone Jazz'R model Jackson did a few years ago; he just drew a new shape on a napkin while on tour and told them that's what he wanted. He does play other styles of music, like blues, maybe country, so the coil taps and extra volume and tone do help get a wide range of tones. I do really like the '59s in mine.

Yeah, he does some playing with a country band called Corntooth around the VA area.

They got the specs wrong. It says it has a Rosewood fingerboard, which it's quite obvious just by looking at it that it's Ebony

Other than that it is a pretty good review
