MG and dk2m?

If the dk2m is the pro rig:think:Why does the mg cost more? Is it because they have 81/85s in them? I just bought an MG for 110 on ebay[but it needs a lot of help!!!no actives in it[which I consider a plus] and my final question is can you sand down the back of the neck and just keep it oiled:think:

Yep on the EMGs and Since the neck isn't qtrsawn you shouldn't but I have sandered them down anyway. The risk of warping is much higher on flat sawn necks.
