Thanks...Its awesome...There is one problem i'm worried about tho...if i push the bar down more than about a half inch there is a poping noise, and when i pull the bar back up, it makes a slightly different pop noise, I thought it was a string slipping but IDK. I took all of the locking clamp pieces off of the nut and whammied the hell out of it and no pops (way outta tune, but no pops), so i retuned it and screwed the clamps (if someone reads this please give me the right word for the three clamps) back on and sure enough it popped again. I was worried that the nut was loose, any ideas????1995ish Charvel strat copy

a few others i'd rather not mention
Nigel Tufnel: (holding up a guitar) The sustain, listen to it.
Marty DiBergi: I don't hear anything.
Nigel Tufnel: Well you would though, if it were playing.

I checked the springs, they are good.....then i double checked everything else it all checked out, so I called the music store i bought it from which transfered me to their luthier and he said to make sure the screws securing the nut to the neck were tight, ( of course, they were)...so I called the music store again and the guy told me not to worry about their 7 day return policy and that if a local music store could repair it they would reimburse me, but if the store couldn't, i'd have to send it back. I really don't want to return it cause I love the HSS layout and the maple board and the finish, not to mention the fact that its the best playing guitar ive ever played......
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!1995ish Charvel strat copy

no...the pop happens way before the strings get near the pickups....turns out i was wrong about there being no pop with the nut unlocked, there is still the same pop just not as loud, I was plugged in and didnt hear it. When i called the guy about it (3rd or 4th time) he told me to pluck the strings behind the nut while moving the bar to check that the nut was locking and the Low E and A both changed in pitch, the others didn't. So I'm totally lost...I'm taking it to a local store this morn but with my luck that will get me nowhere.1995ish Charvel strat copy
