Neck on SL3 compared to PC1?

I've read that the PC1 has a thick, baseball bat type neck. My SL3 seems to have the same - it's the thickest neck I've ever played certainly. So I wondered if the PC1 is thicker?

Every time I play my SL3 I'm blown away by it's sheer class. It's just so much better in every way than my other imports, RR3, KE3 and JDR 94 Concept although about on a par with my Epiphone Black Beauty which seems to be a really good example of an Epiphone.

at the 12th fret the sl3 is .850 the pc1 is .890

Weird. Phil Collen uses big massive necks, something like .11 gauge strings and metal plectrums, yet he looks like quite a wee guy. I don't know how he does it.
