Bought a new DK2M in inferno red from guitar center on clearance for $283. A few weeks later I was headed to hawaii for vacation, so beforehand I managed to find a buyer in honolulu who was looking for a jackson body (remember, shipping to islands is expensive!), so took it on my carry on luggage and i sold just the body to him for $260ish (can't remember exactly). Bought a jackson DR3 body off a private seller for around $120 and pieced it back together using the neck and hardware/electronics from the DK2M
Here's a vid of the guitar completed and being played
I heard a cool cover of a michael jackson tune on the radio so latert hat night i set out trying to learn it for my band to play. Its certainly not 100% per...
I sold the guitar for $650 ish. It was a sweet looking guitar for sure, but compared to my SL1 it just didn't get much play, and since I'd be profiting, i figured I'd let her go to a good home.
