yes its arriving on the last week of march! it has a kahler and im afraid of it. but honestly i dont use the trem at all so i guess better a kahler than a floyd. plus it has a TB5, do you guys like that pickups? ive used JBs exclusively all my life and i wonder if the TB5 can go megadeth on me. plus ive never tried the 59 neck as well.

thanks, i hope it does. i wasnt able to get a hardcase because it increased shipping by 200+ dollars (weight issues i think). so the guy had it boxed, bubble wrapped and placed in a crate. its coming by ship. form japan to here, the philippines.

btw im going on a study tour to berlin on april 12! first time to set foot on Deutschland!!!!! sehrrr schoooon!!!!!

I got the SH5 (regular spaced version) in both my JacksonStars RR-J1Bs. It totally kicks ass!
Right now I even like it better than the Duncan Distortion which was my pickup of choice for many years and is installed in many of my guitars. So far I only liked the JB when paired with a warm-sounding mahagony guitar. I think you will be very pleased with the TB5!

And I hope you enjoy Germany as well when you're here, and hopefully by then we will have better weather...!

IIRC Ron bought one of these Jackson Stars V's a while back, only it doesn't have a kahler.

I spent half my life in Germany. It's much cleaner than the UK, there are no chav's and the alcohol isn't watered down.

Actually I don't think that's the tremolo Kahler. I think it's the one Mustaine used on his KV-1s.

Nah, that's a trem. It's the 2320. It also has a locking nut which the fixed bridge Kahlers don't require.

Mustaines KV's had 3300/3310 models.

yeah, its a 2320. wont be using the trem much though. thats why i got kahler instead of floyd. sadly jackson stars doesnt make any hard tail king v unless its custom order whcih i very much couldnt afford. i think it comes with the schaller floyd style locking nut to address the hideous locking nut problems other trem kahlers had.
