Oh, well thank you for pointing that out, toejam. You learn something new everyday. I have a question though, why does it appear to have Dave's sig on it if it isn't a KV1?
The KV Pro has dave's signature too. But the headstock is shorter so the signature has to be split into two parts.
The KV1 has the entire signature on one line. and a larger headstock.
I hav ea KV1 (totally abused, and re fretted) , and have had a KV Pro
I think metalchurch79 saw what looks to be Dave's sig on the headstock. So he thought that's what it was. So did I, then I saw there was no "Made In The USA" on it.
Thats what made me think it was a Dave Mustaine KV-1
My bad.
I knew that you guys would provide more info than I could.
'Howling in shadows
Living in a lunar spell
He finds his heaven
Spewing from the mouth of hell'
Wow, guess I won't be dealing with this guy, originally he didn't have a camera so he said he'd hunt one down and get some pics, few days later he sent me that by email. Then I asked him just to confirm that was indeed it and he says
"I knew someone was going to eventually ask that, haha. Id admit that it isnt the actual one diplayed in the picture, it actually has polished chrome hardware and Duncan pickups. The one in the picture is an american made King V with all balck hardware and im not sure of the pick ups."
