  • Indian made rhoads, sharkies red bevels

Black with red bevels and red jackson logo, sharkfin inlays, floyd rose......

I saw this guitar on the wall at the commack, ny guitar center the other day. at first I thought it was a new rr3 color, but the price was 399 and it said made in india on the back of the headstock (It might have read "crafted in india", my memory is not so hot) I can't find this model anywhere online and was curious if any of you guys knew anything about it.

Oh yeah my first post, i've been lurking here for a while though.

Does it have 22 or 24 frets? It could be the RR24.
    It's pronounced soops

To be honest, I'm a little confused here. The only Rhoads that is made in India (and also the only one in that sort of price range) is the JS30RR, but that's string through and doesn't have sharkies.

Like 84sups said, the description of red bevels and red Jackson logo is something that I've only ever seen on the RR24, but that's made in Japan and costs around $1000, not $400.
      I like maple fretboards. :P

Yeah I was surprised too, that's why I posted in the first place...

I just stopped by on my way home from work.. It does have 24 frets, and the tag listed it as a "js30rr black w/red bevels". So I guess it's a new model, though it's not listed on the jackson website.

Someone may have fucked up labeling it.
Red bevels and logo with sharkies and a Floyd sounds like an RR24.
          One pickup or two?
If it also has a single EMG, I would say it was a mislabeled RR24.

If they are calling it a JS30RR and selling it for $399, grab it.

              Hmmm... very interesting.
Time to bring your camera to the shop and photograph this beast.

I saw one like that too. IIRC, it was 24 frets, two humbuckers, forget what kind, and a licensed Floyd. I saw mine in the Larchmont, NY GC. It felt pretty nice, especially for an Indian guitar.

It is 24 frets it is Black with red bevels , it has a Jackson Floyd on it. It's called a JS30RRF yes that's right a JS series RR with a Floyd I played it today a GC & it ripped. For just 399.99 plus Taxes.

I wonder why it's nowhere on the internet.

I have an Indian Tele and it's built as nice as anything else I own. I was surprised too.
