hey guys, i got grilled when i joined and didnt post any pics so here goes...
this Jackson was the 1st Jackson I got, it was real cheap and made in japan, came with some crummy Jackson pups, (i suppose its unfair to say they were crummy, they just weren't to my liking). Anyways, i took out the stock pups, put a seymour duncan 59 in the neck and a Bill lawrence usa x500l in the bridge... i know i know... couldnt really care which one dime used, i like the sound it has..
after this, my love affair with jackson began and i bought a dk2m, what a smart buy... love this thing
below is a small pic of the rest of them... from left to right...
The red one is a guitar i built myself from a chunk of mahogany i found lying around in mozambique. didnt come out too bad considering it was my 1st attempt. it has no strings because i was in the process of scavenging parts for the others.
Ibanez acoustic, dont know the model offhand, the V is a cort that my sweet wife bought me... I was unfamiliar with cort guitars as i seldom played them but I must say i was pleasantly surprised. Nice rich tone and verrrrry suitable for rock. excellent action and playability and a very comfortable neck!
The maroon/ red Ibanez RG i picked up for $35 , it was my beater while I was on the gigging circuit, it has seymour duncan livewires in it and it rocks
Next to the RG is my ibanez AR300, this guitar is the closest i'll get to the les paul, has a very nice fat sound and i used it exclusively while recording our demo.
washburn N2 i think, the other beater during my gigging days, my 1st reverse headstock guit ,
the marine coloured one is a 1983 steve lukather sig series by ibanez. only 1600 made back then, big neck but what unbelievale sound. Ive retired her so she doesnt get all banged up.
The bass is a washburn cheapy, check out the paint job though! done my a mate of mine!
and thats it, i'll post some amp pics in the amp section!
cheers guys
