    hello guys i am new here

    need help on this one

    seller says its an jackson king v and that is probably it...

    the serial number is 9637249 and its an 22fret bolt on neck with seymour duncan pickups and an liscensed floyd

    i suspect that its an japan made V but to be honest i am not sure

    could you experts please help me... and if this is posted wrong i am very sorry

    I'm thinking older Japan-made KVX10D. The KV3 had 22 frets but only one knob, and the older X10D had Volume and Tone and 22 frets, then they went to 24 frets without the trem on the X10.

      Sorry, Newc, once again you are wrong. There was no KVX10D model, the ser# is from around 1998, and the specs match a KV3 exactly (including the input jack on the upper wing).

        so its an KV3?

        any comments on that guitar

        i am gonna get it quite cheap so i am thinking to make a projekt guitar out of it

        what do you guys think the guitar is worth( i live in sweden btw so i think the prices is a little diffrent btw)

          Definitely a KV3, they had one just like that at a local store for years until a buddy of mine who worked there finally bought it. That one had volume & tone too, as well as the satin chrome hardware.

            Hmmm. I don't recall my KV3 having a Tone knob. Or am I thinking of the Kelly I had?
