Crap! For $35, that's well worth the experiment!
I would think that if the head lets go, it will just angle forward suddenly and not detach: you have the nails in there, and a good glue joint. Even if the nails cracked through the neck wood, that head probably isn't going to fly off. That's providing you don't Townshend the thing!:think:
