Hello everyone. I have the SDK-2 Super Dinky (yeah, the one with the fatter neck) and I use this guitar to play a clean blues (the fatter neck lends to this style real nice). I currently have the stock Armstrong made pups and I'm looking to get more of a bite seeing how I play a clean blues. Sure, the more ideal thing would be to get a Strat, full of single coils, but I really love this guitar. Is there a humbucker that has more of a single coil bite that work well with these guitars? I was thinking about a humbucker sized P90, like the Duncan Phat Cat or the like, but was wondering if there were any actual true humbuckers with a nice bite to them. Thanks.

Check out the Duncan P-Rail - p90, single and hummer all in one.
Also, Dimarzio Humbucker from Hell is a hum sized single.
I like a PAF style for blues - try one with more glassiness like a Screamin' Demon for a little extra bite.-------------------------

P-Rails is a good shout.
Whatever you choose, add a coil split. It's very, very easy to do and will give you single coil tones from whatever pickups you have (assuming you get ones with 4 conductor wire). I have coil splits on things as hot as Duncan Distortion and JBs and they sound great when split.
