Sorry man, been looking for the right guitar for a few months now. Needed something that was the same caliber as my old ESP Custom and this seems to be it. Hope I did not pay too much for it??????

Jackson didn't start using the two-letter + number naming scheme until the late 90s IIRC, so a 1990 SL1 never existed.

Fucking nice. Those Pro's own half the USA guitars I've ever played.. Anyone with a Pro knows they're spectacular, and I've never heard a bad thing about them.. Ever.

That's a fair price. A couple of years ago you couldn't get $500 for them. Now people hit the BIN at $800 (shipping).

The neck will be a thinner shedder type than the ESP. At least my 2 ESP Customs (1980s) have a fatter neck than my Jacksons.

As long as it has that feel, like it almost plays itself, I will be stoked!

And I am still not clear what the difference is between a MIJ Soloist Pro and an American made SL1 from 1990. It appears that the country of origin is the only difference??????

Didn't someone say there was no such thing as a SL1 back in the 1990s?

Will do! The Harmony website has reviews on it and it seems to be the same guitar as the US version.
