  • Serial help!

I have in my possession a Warrior that I believe to be from Japan. The serial number is J000345. I can't seem to get any info on it from Jackson. It's obviously one of the first, if not the first model Warrior ever made, and it's a beautiful guitar. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on it.

If that headstock says Professional, it looks like a Warrior PRO. Dunno from which year. 1990-1995.

    Ebony fretboard/Schaller trem/MOP inlays/Neckthru.
    Guitars:
    Ibanez J-Custom RG8420ZD
    Ibanez S520EX
    Jackson DK2M

According to Jackson's import serial codes, a "0" following the "J" means it's from 1990. I don't know anything else about this thing though.

And it is indeed a professional.

Well I was hoping someone would know how to translate the serial code string. The production year is all I get out of it. I don't know if the "345" means it was the 345'th one produced?

The company that made these guitars makes a different guitar now. I forget what the guitars are called, but they have a very strange headstock.

The J 000345 means it was the 345 neck thru guitar (not model specific) built in 1990.
              That's it. Nothing more.

                    Hello psycho

Yes, the first 2 digits denote year, ie it's a 2001.

                      Thanks Dude!
It's my very first soloist, the model is SL2.
not sure what duncan they put in there, but they put a bridge seymour duncan model pu in the neck postion ( i can tell from the pole pieces position). I saw more than 1 Japanese jackson doing this.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it, and not gonna change anything on it.
