  • Rr3r?

On eBay there's an RR3R for sale, wondering if it's genuine because I haven't ever seen one of these before and apparently it's limited edition?

    Thanks

It's real. Some RRs and KEs had reverse headstocks and reverse sharkfins during that time period.

I have one in Trans red. They are made of poplar, and had the duncan dseign in them. if you buy it you'll want to trade up the pup unless the previous owner already did. my rr3r was my main guitar for several years.
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

Oh and I know nothing of it being a limited edition. I just don't think it was that popular of a model with the reverse head and sharkies. it was out the same year as the roswell rhoads and they both went away the following year or so.

The catalog says alder. Alder and poplar sound pretty similar anyway.

I like alder, so far he's not getting much luck on bids and he's in the same county as I am so I asked him for a trade, a Nice JS30, A Strat copy which is amazing for it's price and also offering him the strat gig bag.

Did they ever do that with the KV3? If so, I think I would need to keep an eye out for one...

I wouldn't read too much into that. The DK2M I just bought was stuck at about £50 until the very last day, when it steadily started to increase and ended up with me getting it for £281....

I think the reverse headstock on the rhoads looks badass, the reverse inlays not so much.
