Jackson PS-4 Dinky *customized* Should i hit it?

I'm talking to a guy who is selling a 94' Jackson PS4 Dinky (he's not sure if it was made in 94...) with a customized paintjob , satin White and a satin finished neck... with emg 81 and 85, stock floyd, 24 extra jumbo frets, inverted headstock, bla bla bla...

What i want to know is:

1- Is it worth to sell my schecter hellraiser and buy it? is it a manly thing to do? hehe and anyone here can tell me if the stock floyd on the PS4's are good?

2- For those who have or had one... what is your opinion?

3- oh, is it MIJ or MIK?

i know its a huge difference between schecter and the PS4... but i've always had that GAS for Jackson super strat thing...

Ok, this is a Jackson forum, but if I were you, I would keep hellraiser and forget the ps-4.

Oh yes, the ps-4 bridge is not so good, if i remember right hellraiser has OFR?

I have a PS2 performer in great condition.... it isn't the smoothest playing Jackson I have but it doesn't suck..... I would keep the Schecter. Or better yet trade me the Schecter for my PS2.

I think you are right. The PS4 had a single coil between the two humbuckers.... at least in my old catalog.

I have had three,something besides the missing pickup does not look right. could be a ps neck on a js body??? but the js is 22 fret so?? who knows?play it ,see if it is in tune with a song you like to play! if it is and you like it buy it!!!!

jdr-94 has this one for sale! and besides the back its a fuck'n great guitar! some one should pick it up with a case!!

It looks like a DK2M body on it but the them pocket isn't right. Maybe he filled the middle pickup in? Ask ALOT of question. The necks on the PS-4s are awesome and the floyds aren't that bad at least they stay in tune. they're made in MIJ so they have a good build quality. Also a schaller made floyd is a direct swap just in case ya wanna change stuff.

my ps-4 has a single coil in the middle as well, great guitars if you get one of the Japan made ones, crappy hardware, but with an OFR and pup swap they are really sweet, necks are ridiculously thin, rather have it than a new dinky
