The Mark Morton model is spec'd as having a 24.75" scale, but I read that Mark's personal guitars have a 25" scale. Well, after owning mine for well over a year, I just measured the scale length, and it's 25". I guess Jackson screwed up again on the spec sheet on its website.

Yep, they've always had the wrong bridge listed. They used to also say it had a MOP headstock logo and MOP inlays with the abalone shark eye, but we all know it's MOTO and not real MOP.
I know Mark used to play a SweeTone (bent top or arch top) that had the 25" scale, and he did base the MM1 slightly around a Jazz'R body which also had the 25" scale, so I guess they just kept with that.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Hmm. When I measured from the bridge-side of the nut to the center of the 12th fret (wire), I got 12 and 3/8 in., which doubles to 24.75 in. The low E from nut to saddle does show 25 in., but not all the strings sit that far back on the saddle.
