Jackson fusion - confusion

Hi guys i recently switched from an quite beated up Fernandes R8 to this Jackson Fusion aparently a FUSION HH (good change? you think?)



Here my questions:
1.- this one really is a Jackson Fusion HH? cause i´ve seen in the printed catalog that Fusion HH comes with a "Schaller-type" bridge, 3 way toggle switch and "jackson labeled" pickups. mine gots takeuchi bridge instead (did you guys noticed that the takeuchi is almost the same bridge that Ibanez Edge) 5 ways blade switch and non-labeled pickups. blue paintjob and matching headstock.

2.- how much it worth?

Pickups can be easily swapped.
As for the trem, some came with JT-590's (Schaller) and some came with JT-580LP trems.

What is the serial number on the neck plate? That will tell you what year it was made.
Should also nail down the model as the Fusion Plus was also an HH config.

My Fusion HH has a JT580LP (Takeuchi) and a 3-way LP-type switch.

IMO that's not a Fusion HH.

Looked at the catalog scan for '92 and I think you are right about the Fusion Plus, and I only see it in the '92 catalog. I can't make out the print to see what else is different but that is almost certainly what it is.

Guys! didn´t told me about how much it worth. and the body material?
and if this one is a good change for a fernandes R8.

It's worth about $250 to $300 tops if it's in great condition.
Not much demand for short scale Jackson's.
It's painted, so the body is Basswood.

I've never played an R8, so I have no idea how they would compare to each other.
