  • Identify age of this Jackson

I believe it's a DK2. Transparent black with the flame top. Maple neck with roeswood fingerboard. Sharkfin inlays and 24 frets. Bright shiny chrome hardware. Licensed by Floyd Rose tremelo. Duncan designed pickups, humbucker in the bridge position with single coils in the middle and neck positions. The serial number is 96920XX. The neck plate just says Jackson on it along with the serial number. Headstock says Jackson in white also has Jackson tuners. Any idea what this is worth? It's in mint condition and has a SKB Freedom case.

    Thanks for any help.

DK2 with chrome hardware... made between 2001 and 2004.
You'll have to search eBay for pricing on the older DK2's, but I would guess somewhere in the $300 range.

It's a 2003, made in Japan. Can't help you with the value.
