I was shocked when that Futura sold for so little. I was expecting it to go for at least $400 and was thinking about bidding on it. You almost never see one that isn't lacewood.

Hey Chowderboots the Ampeg is MTI era so it was built in the early `80s

well that 850 was mis marked and I helped the guy out and told him what he had. this is the 2nd time it has been listed. He did not change the price from the old to the new listing, but someone will want a 850 bad enough to snag it when he puts the starting price at 250 on round 3, and if he dont relist it, I'm gonna ask if he would sell it to me for under 300

p.s. there is another Futura on ebay and I bid on it HOWEVER, in keeping with the theme of this thread.....

I will l.o.v.e. the fluorescent green cord as if it was one of my toys. I'll slam it in and out of the jack and step on it and whip it all around until it breaks
