Anyone recognize these kind of pickups with the hole in the center of the poles ? Powersound?

If they're hex sockets, maybe it's a DiMarzio PAF Model P like on my Hamer Blitz, which has the same unmarked black housings.

Yes they do seem to have a hex socket and i can see some threads , adjustable poles ? Anyone ever find this useful ?

Yep. It's handy feature to me and they're probably a DiMarzio design or a ripoff of a DiMarzio pickup.
