Bass controls.........?????

I have been pondering some serious shit lately.

One of which is bass amps.

why is there a TREBLE control on a bass amp? that shit dont make sense to me. why the hell would you need treble on a bass amp.

there is some shit I just dont understand.

On my Ampeg I can get the amp to distort at a lower volume level by boosting the treble and mid

Because equalizers can be helpful regardless of the original tone.

probably cuz a bass would sound stupid with out any high end. your highs and mids allow you to pop through the mix. without it, all your gonna get is a sub sound with no definition which is lame
