  • A Jackson inspired non Jackson bass...

Just wanted to toss this one out there... I had this made by a small builder here in phoenix... based off a double Rhoads! I don't play this so much these days(especially since I got my CS Rhoads), but I thought I would share it with you all! Here are the specs:
Maple neck thru construction with alder wings
Dual action truss rod with graphite reinforcement running along side- super rigid neck.
Birdseye fretboard 34 " scale with inverted black cross inlay and black binding
Graphite nut 1 1/2" nut width.. like a jazz bass.
Fiber optic position markers (selectable colors RED BLUE or GREEN)
Dunlop 6100 Jumbo fretsThin satin black finish
EMG MMCS Musicman style active pickup
Hipshot String thru or Topload bridge
    Hipshot Ultralight tuning machines
    Schaller Straplocks
    Custom Made ATA Flight Case...

    Endorsing Artist:
    ESP Basses
    Mesa Boogie Amplification
    EMG Pickups
    D'Addario Strings
    Pedaltrain Pedalboards
    Couch Straps
    InTune Picks

oooh ya, that's pretty Matt. Looks like a BCR headstock so I wouldn't call it a 100% Jackson copy, but still very cool!!!!

I recently also found a Jackson Warrior copy, so I can contribute to the "looks like a Jackson but not a Jackson" thread
