How much they costed back then?

Does anyone of you have any kind of information about how much Charvel & Jackson basses costed back in the eighties?
It would be nice to compare the prices.
My friend says that his Charvel 3b costed about 900 euros back in 1988.
I have bought my basses used so I have no idea what they costed when they were new.

But they didnt have the euro in '88

all I ever cared about is what it cost me at the moment I wanted to buy them, hell I am VERY GLAD Jackson never made a hit with the basses, because if they did and the prices would have been consistent to what the guitars from the 80's and 90's cost, I would either have only a couple basses, or I would have a very expensive collection
