I like my guitars (and basses) with neck/headstock binding and sharkfins as well as neckthru.
      Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

I'm all for a USA line of basses. I have a bassist who plays *gasp* Ibanez because Jackson doesn't make a five and he doesn't want to pay CS pricing.
        I like EL34s.

I'd like a remake of the pointy certainly not costing 2-3grand, but still - there are those people who like the gumbyhead version as I found this pic somewhere for sale.

That neckthru one is a Grover Jackson bass from the late '80s/early '90s made strictly for the Japanese market. There was recently one just like it on Ishibashi's "U-Box" used guitar section of their web site. Unfortunately, that was also not a lefty. Not really worth the money, anyway, when you consider that those Grover Jackson Concerts are really just a Model 3b with ebony and sharkies.

Looking for lefty C/J basses must be a frustrating enterprise...

the 3b was the granddaddy for them, BUT in defense of the 90's Jackson NT's and all the 80's USA made SanDimas NT stuff..very collectible.

OH, a lefty Jackson :ROTF:? did they even make one past the Charvel model2? I never saw one and I gave up looking for prototypes a long time ago. They "claim" to have made lefty Futura's, but I never saw one ever....

sad thing is IF << the keyword IF, I wanted a lefty I could get a dozen of them today, but to own some lame Fenders/Carvins/Schecters/SX...naw....I'll pass unless one comes my way cheap enough. I am so sick of seeing top routed pickguarded p-basses I'm gonna just stick to what I have, and let the search continue. I bought 2 lefty Charvels so if one breaks I have a spare, and turned it into a j2000 preampped p-HB with a Kahler so I'm very happy as the rest of the righty units over here are really collectibles, although I can play em all, I generally only bring a righty as a backup.

To have Jackson make a "Concert" again like the new Ellefson in lefty would probably mean a 6 month wait and 2x the cost. Oh well....lol

Well, now you can hear a bit the sound of it...

Few months ago i saw megadeth live here in Milano and he played that one in silver, a black concert 5 strings, another silver concert but with 4 strings and then he finished the show with a red bc rich mockingbird just for peace sells...

Whats the string spacing on Dave's new 5 string Concerts? Looks a little wider than the older Concert V (which is a good thing to me). They look sweet as.

once I found 2 of them, I was done looking.

They only made model 2's in lefty, so thats about it
