that's why I decided to forgo the eBay cover. For just a couple more dollars, I can get the cover w/the battery box installed. I had already sent an email to Fretsonthenet and he got right back to me. Since my cavity configuration won't allow the battery box to be installed in the standard location, I need to send him a template.

your looking at a waste of money...that bat-box cover won't work. spend 8 bucks+ship and put it on.....

I suppose your right. The volume pot is in the way by a couple 16ths.

that, and the fact that the vol is soldered to the "vertical" board, naw..don't waste your money and be bummed out that there is no way it would work.

OR if you are still gung-ho about buying one, you could swap out the j2000 for a Mr. Ming that can lay flat in that small cavity but the input jack may still be in the way:


and yes it was cheap (10 bucks) and yes it works perfectly with no hiss or hum, and yes I bought like 6 of them already, and yes I have one in my model4, my Ibanez, and my Series10.

and I also found 8 j2000's and bought them up for 10 bucks when they were around I'm also LAZY, and if the vol pot goes bad, I'll just change the whole thing out.

our guitarplayers Charvel475D j1200 was toast, so he now has a j2000 in it...talk about a difference ( for the good that is )

and sorry for these edits, but that blue F4 that was on ebay went for under 150 bucks -- someone is happy I wonder who????

theres a broke F5 on ebay and I offered 150 to what he wanted. he told me 185 the first time it was listed, and before it's over I'll offer 100 and see what happens. the neck is shot, but I need the body more important for a project if i can get it cheap.

Peabuddy owned my crackle 3b, and SanDimas85 owned my red 3b but I wanna know if a JCF'er ever owned my E5, but the guitar to bass ratio balance is like 90% to 10% and highly unlikely BUT, it's a good thing I'm around this fukkin guitarplayer heaven to beat up on them and gain post counts talking about bass shit
