  • Can anyone identify this bass

I saw this on the local CL and may take it since I am currently bassless. Can anyone identify it and give me some info and actual worth?

    Thanx - Pete

Thanx for the info - the seller sold the case, so the price is for the bass only. I was going to do a trade, but I guess not with yourinout.

remember my opinion is mine, there are some who like the gumbyheads and would certainly pay that for the thing, just not me I enjoy the pointys better.

Well my last 3 basses were a Warwick $$ 5-string, ESP Horizon 5-string and an Ibanez BTB 6-string. I do like the gumbys, but I need to know what the bass is actually worth to make an educated decision. I know the spider valve should bring between $3 - 350 used based on the blowout price of $399. Was the Jackson ever a $6 - 700 bass when it was new? If the prices are comparable, I would check it out.
