Charvel Acoustic/Electric Bass

Does anyone know anything about the acoustic/electric basses? There is one locally for 250, decent price? I'd never heard of them before this popped up. Looks a lot like a surfcaster but no pickguard. Are these any good?

Or maybe more approriate would be has anyone else heard of these?

Thanks. I thought I looked all over for it, but couldn't find the thing anywhere! It is the SLX, which has me stoked wondering what kind of wood it would be. Rosewood should give it a very nice deep sound. I'm assuming that has to be a misprint with the 25.5" scale length?

Hopefully I'll have my 3B fully put together in the next couple days. Got a refin in the modern Dodge Charger orange, just working on the wiring and all now. The real trick is finding time! Pics coming soon.
